Following the formation of Smart Solutions in January 2008 and the subsequent introduction of some very unique service based concepts in the recruitment sector our business has grown at exceptional rate throughout Wales and England.  This fast growth whilst positive also delivered some very challenging growing pains in terms of business structure, financial management, corporate governance and overall marketing challenges.  As result Smart were delighted at the opportunity presented to us in form of Paul Ragan of Collateral Thinking. Paul and his fellow founders have vast experience which was evident from day one, no doubt having been through similar scenarios that Smarts success presented us. As a result of Paul’s network we were able to secure the services of a formidable PLC level Financial Director in Gary Ridwood. The combination of Paul and Gary gave our business instant credibility within the Welsh markets and with our financial support institutions, whilst also opening the door to a string of excellent advisors ranging from legal experts to marketing professionals. During this economic climate however positive our business outlook seemed, we would have been shamefully foolish not take the opportunity of such expert advice from a not for profit organisation that ultimately helps secure the interests of all our stakeholders and the continued success of Smart Solutions.
